The King Baboon Tarantula

The King Baboon Tarantula is a giant of the Taratula world, its impressive with bright brown and red body color and is very aggressive. They can grow up to 6.5 - 9 inches, eat insects and some mice, and they are found in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in scrublands. This type of Tarantula will react to any sign of danger by standing on there hind legs and sometimes make a hissing noise. This species should be obtained by an experienced Tarantula owner as they are aggressive, they sometimes burrow away for months at a time, and they are the most toxic of all Tarantula species.
