Mexican Bloodleg Tarantula

The Mexican Bloodleg Tarantula is one of the best species of Tarantulas for a pet, they have distinctive gold and yellow legs when young (the male looses this color on maturity and becomes completely black). They grow up to 3.5 - 4 inches, eat small insects and comes from scrublands and deserts of Mexico. They are great as pets as they are docile and generally have a long life span, although they are still fairly rare as a captive - bred pet, so they can be fairly expensive.
